traffic. megan, over to you. >>> a family is beginning to say good-bye today to a baltimore man they say died at the hands of police. the viewing is taking place for anthony anderson. he was walking home in east baltimore last week when he ran into several police officers. now, initial police reports say that he died because he was trying to hide drugs by ingesting them. however, now police are admitting that's not true. anderson's family, they want the truth to come out. so coming up in the next half hour, we're going to tell you how this family plans to take action this weekend. >>> anne arundel county woman right now sitting in a jail cell this morning, accused of trying to run over her estranged husband with a pick- up truck. petina moorehead, from shady side has been charged with attempted murder and police say that the two were arguing when moorehead got into her truck and they say she pinned him behind that truck and another car that was parked. her husband whose name is not being released right now has life-threatening injuries. he's in the hospital. >>> the future of the wreck

downtown to fayette street. >>> two men are shot in north baltimore and the police are searching for the gunmen. linda so is live at the police headquarters. what is the latest? >> reporter: the search continues for the suspects and the motive remains uncleared. two men were shot in the arm just before 10:00 last night near north parkway the men are in their 20s and 40s. both victims were shot in the arm. the men were found in a car. but the police say that the shooting did not happen at that election. they believe it happened somewhere else and they drove to that area. and men were taken to near hospitals with non-life threateng injuries. and the search for the suspect continues this morning and the motive is unclear. linda so, "abc 2 news." >>> it is a tough time for people in harford county sheriff's department is preparing for at loss. they're saying good-bye to another sergeant this morning. he died of a heart attack wednesday night. he started feeling the symptoms during the funeral of another colleague who died in a car crash last week. he is survived by a wife and young c

will be held today for anthony anderson. he's the man from east baltimore who died after a confrontation with baltimore city police last week. anderson had been walking home last week in east baltimore when he came into contact with several police officers. in the first initial police report that was given after his death, it said that he died because he was trying to hide drugs that he was ingesting. however, now police admit it's not true and people who say they saw that confrontation, they tell a much different story. >> he put his arms to the side and come straight up and slammed them on his neck, collar bone-like. he sit that man up. schools -- baltimore city schools today due to the harry and jeanette wineberg undation. they are having a huge event hosting a grand opening of the first of three school libraries. so right now abc2 news sherrie johnson is live with more on what's happening and why this is so exciting. >> reporter: well, yes, we are here live at the thomas johnson elementary middle school and south baltimore where in few hours there's going to be the grand unveiling. not only here at this school but two other schools to make it three new libraries total. and this morning, i have lyanne with me who has two sons one inpre-k and first grade. tell me about what you think about this library project and the fact the schools get the new libraries. >> i think it's incredible. especially for the city where we sometimes feel like we are forgotten the but this is bringing such a positive buzz to the neighborhood. we are getting 4,000 new bucks a pretty shiny new library where the kids can go in and experience learning. >> reporter: what do you think about the wineberg foundationteaming with up community partners t

and they will be on the field tonight when baltimore plays host to the winless cleveland browns. news of the deal began circulating shortly after midnight and most analysts say they weren't at all surprised especially when you see the problems that have been mounting on a weekly basis. you had issued from games running longer, replacement refs popping up on facebook wearing their favorite teams gear. obviously things came to a head monday night with a botched game ending reception interception call involving the sea hawks and the green way packers. seattle won that game but the greenway defender, he intercepted the ball. we seek improvement in every year including officiating. this agreement will make officiating better. the teams players, and fans want both efficiency and quality in the officiating. that from roger goodell. your deal includes improved pay and pension packages for the referees and they can assign them to games in they choose. the nfl zebras are returning to the field tonight, their first assignment the ravens playing host to the browns. >>> 4:3 #,33, this morning, two -- 4:33 this morn

news' sherrie johnson is live this morning in northeast baltimore with the story and what's the latest on the investigation? >> reporter: okay, right now megan, police are still searching for a suspect in this shooting. so that investigation continues. now we are told that classes are set to resume this morning after the campus was on lockdown yesterday and evening classes were also canceled because of the shooting. but they are set to resume classes this morning. this all happened yesterday about 4:15 p.m. witnesses say the victim was inside the morgan state student center playing pool. he was shot inside the student center and he collapsed outside the building. investigators don't think the victim or the gunman were students at morgan state and right now many students are concerned leading to questions about how easy it can be for outsiders to come in and cause trouble. >> i heard a gunshot or like a big noise. so now i came out here to check and i found out it was him on the ground and he was bleeding. >> reporter: not yet released the name of the victim. they're also still searchin
